While the boss is away....

I hang out a lot at Scraptherapy . Lee Anne and Danny who run Scraptherapy are away and the design team have some challenges running. Here are mine from the first week. A card and a LO.  I love the holidays! I have managed to get so much done.

And they call it Poppy Love.

Here is my first ever go at the White with One challenge. Love the challenge and hope to play along again next time. The photo was taken when Toby was 11 months old. Paul and Toby enjoying some time together.
I have used AC CS with a couple of Journalling tags from my stash. Prima flowers, The banner is a doilie that I have cut and the pp is a stamped background on plain white CS.

Another couple of layouts.

Here are another couple of lay outs I have entered into comps at Red Earth Scrapping.
The first is of my grandson Toby at 2 months old with my daughter - his mum.

This one is of my mum, her mum and sisters in 1955. My mum is on the far right.
She would have been 8 years old.

Christmas

A Christmas LO of my grandgodson (he is my grandson and my godson) Toby at 16 months old. I have used MME's Jolly Holly range.
Toby was taking the baubles off the tree as fast as I was putting them on but we got there in the end.

This is my entry for challenge 1 'A happy scrappy new year competition' at Red Earth Scrapping.

I won!

I have been doing a lot of blog hopping in the past week. One of the blogs I came across is Best Creations, anyway I left a comment, as you do, and I won a giveaway prize!
Here is the post with my name in it. :) I won their travel paper release for CHA.

PLEASE HELP.

All the details are here at Rising Waters Flood Appeal for Crafters.

Just scroll down to see the postal address. They are asking for pages, cards, unwanted albums, anything that can support the victims of this horrendous flood.

My brother and sister are both in the Toowoomba area. They are both safe thank goodness, although my brother's house has been damaged.

Thanks for your support.

A sparkling new page

I have added a layout page where I can post pics of my layouts so they are easy to find. I have posted a few older ones so I could practice adding pics to the new blog. I am slowly getting my head around it all. It's been an experience. I am enjoying the process of creating the blog. I am a bit concerned it will be too time consuming to maintain, however I am hopeful that once I have it up and running that I will not be spending so much time on it. The last 4 hours have disappeared!

Welcome

A new year and a new blog.
I tried to get a blog up and running last year but it never got off the ground. I have been inspired again to get one going by Ali Edward's one little word concept. I began last year with my word - action. This is where the blog name Action Pact came from. A pact with myself to be more active in my life. To a certain extent I have achieved that. I definitely have heaps going on, too much at times, but not in the areas I wanted to focus on. I thought about keeping the word action for 2011 but a new year deserves a new word. My goals are not that different from last year so my 2011 word will refocus my attention. In 2011 I will SPARKLE! I will effervesce, be brilliant, a fiery gleaming particle sparkling my way through this year. :)

So welcome to 2011 and to Action Pact. I look forward to sharing my year with you.

Ronnie.
